National approach to funding of virtual consultations
For 2021, trusts will be able to access high-level national funding to support the adoption of virtual consultations with a system-wide approach in procurement. The funding will be accessible for platforms who fulfil certain functional, non-functional technical and interoperability requirements conditions that clinicians within secondary care have marked as essential for a consistent and reliable patient experience, ease of use, and broader accessibility.

In Visiba Care, both healthcare professionals and patients can choose to write and read in the language of their choice. For example, an Arabic-speaking patient can choose to write in Arabic and you as a healthcare professional can see their message translated in English.

Visiba Care enables up to 10 participants to join in the same video consultation. These participants can be patients, patients with a representative –for example, for children or elderly–, colleagues with a Visiba Care account, or guest participants, who can join with their email address or phone number.

Visiba Care enables 3 different user permissions: Healthcare professional, Scheduler, and Administrator. These user permissions enable healthcare professionals to digitalise their workflow and cooperate in a digital environment. Video consultations and messages can be reassigned to another healthcare professional whose expertise may be needed, colleagues can be invited to a video consultation, and with the respective user permission, Schedulers can manage the calendars for healthcare professionals. Administrators can configure the virtual clinic to reflect the organisation’s operations and export statistics on different functions and operational levels of the virtual clinic.

Our users can access our Help centre directly via our platform, where they can find the regularly updated manuals for each user permission, useful guides for frequently used digital flows, video tutorials, tips and inspiration for digital health, as well as the future updates in the platform.
