Hello, multi-party calls!

The day has come when we release the ability to have group calls. The functionality will not be turned on automatically, so if you’re interested in activating group calls, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager at Visiba Care! Apart from group calls, which is the main feature of this release, we’re also releasing some news and improvements for the apps, as well as the usual bunch of bug fixes!

Healthcare practitioners

Changes:

  • Ability to have group calls. Reach out (or ask your administrator to reach out) to your Customer Success Manager at Visiba Care if you’re interested in activating this functionality

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed call not connecting if the healthcare practitioner tried to call the patient immediately after the patient had paid for the appointment
  • Fixed an issue where a long appointment description caused a rendering issue in the calendar pop-up
  • Fixed an issue where pictures added to the call chat and pictures taken with the camera within the app by iOS-patients were downloaded without file extension
  • Fixed an issue where the Log in-reminder which is sent to users who haven’t logged in yet two weeks after receiving an account, was sent out multiple times

Administrators

Changes:

  • Ability to have group calls. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager at Visiba Care if you’re interested in activating this functionality.

Improvements:

  • Filling in e-mail for the About us-sections is no longer mandatory

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the Visiba Care logo was shown in the footer of the patient web even though the white labeling feature had been configured to be used
  • Fixed not being able to download/export list of users
  • Fixed cancel-button not working properly when configuring diverging opening hours for drop-in waiting rooms
  • Fixed issue where changing question type after having already entered answering options and then saving, caused a problem
  • Fixed text position preview image not changing when switching which text you’re editing for apps in Texts/App in the menu
  • Fixed not being able to set a text in Texts/App or Texts/Web to be empty
  • Fixed an issue where the Log in-reminder which is sent to users who haven’t logged in yet two weeks after receiving an account, was sent out multiple times

Patients

Changes:

Android

  • The flow of entering an app with multiple receptions for the first time has been remade for Android (iOS will follow soon). If the patient has received an invitation to an appointment, the patient no longer has to select a reception to be able to reach the appointment. My cases can now also be reached directly from the landing page

Improvements:

Web

  • Links to App Store and Google Play Store have been moved to the other side so they are not blocked when expanding the menu.

Android

  • Giving the app permission to access camera and microphone has a completely new and improved flow and design
  • Clicking an already selected icon in the tab-bar now transitions the user to the start state of that tab instead of nothing happening. This will make navigating the app more intuitive
  • Changing reception is now done from the Reception-tab instead of from My pages (applies to customers with multiple receptions)

iOS

  • Some views have gotten a dedicated design for being empty, instead of a generic design for all empty views

Android/iOS

  • The My cases and My profile buttons are now shown even though the patient is logged out, so that they are easier to find

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where some SMS contained reception name even though customer only had one reception
  • Fixed an issue where receipts were not sent out to patients in e-mails after completing payment

Android

  • Fixed an issue where deleting a file that was not yet fully uploaded in the call chat caused the app to crash
  • A few other different crash fixes relating to issues in the video call

iOS

  • Fixed not being able to save pdf-files from a messaging conversation
  • Fixed video call not being full screen and containing faulty artefacts for iPhone X users
  • Fixed issue where if the patient temporarily lost connection, and the healthcare professional ended the call during that time, the patient would return to the ended call alone when reconnected
  • Fixed icon on Change reception-button being of bad image quality

Android/iOS

  • Fixed sometimes not being able to answer an unanswered form from My cases.
  • Corrections for a number of buttons and texts that were using the wrong colours
