The standard
Being awarded an ISO/IEC 27001 certificate demonstrates our commitment to managing security at every level of our organisation. The ISO/IEC 27001 standard is a widely known international standard that describes best practices for an information security management system (ISMS). Its best practice approach helps organisations manage their information security by addressing people, processes, and technology.
Proved in practice
The certification audit was conducted by auditors from the reputable certification body Bureau Veritas. Over several days, they conducted thorough on-site audits to confirm that our ISMS complies with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard requirements, reviewing documents, sampling records and interviewing our employees. To successfully pass the audit, we had to show that our ISMS is more than just well-written documents and good intentions – that it works as well in practice as it does on paper.
